Poets for Ayiti (www.poetsforayiti.org) is a collective of poets from diverse backgrounds committed to the power of poetry to transform and educate.
For the Crowns of Your Heads is a collection of poems published by Poets for Ayiti to raise funds for the rebuilding of Bibliotheque du Soliel, the Port-au-Prince library destroyed during the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti. As a thank-you for your tax-deductible donations of $20 or more, you will receive a copy of this limited edition chapbook. Bibliotheque du Soliel is a project of Haiti Soliel (www.haitisoliel.org), a 501c3 organization based in Berkley, CA.

As part of its Portraits of Poets: 1910 to 2010 exhibition, The Poetry Society of America will exhibit Rachel Eliza Griffith’s portraits of Lucille Clifton with Nikky Finney, Toi Derricotte, Rita Dove, Martín Espada, Jack Gilbert, Linda Gregg, Yusef Komunyakaa, Ishmael Reed and Ed Roberson.
